We are very excited to announce that Justin Kline has joined Emerald Strategy Partners as a Senior Expert.
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Justin is a seasoned executive and strategy consultant with deep expertise leading strategic growth and transformation in the data center and digital infrastructure sector.
Previously, Justin served as the Global Head of Strategy and Operations at Equinix, a leading global digital infrastructure company. During his tenure, Justin led global strategic planning, playing a pivotal role in shaping Equinix’s strategy to become a Bare Metal cloud services provider, resulting in the successful launch of Equinix Metal and significant enhancement of the company’s hybrid, multi-cloud digital services platform.
He provided strategic leadership to cross-functional teams commercializing emerging technology opportunities via organic product development, ecosystem partnerships and strategic M&A. Under his leadership, Equinix expanded its portfolio to include areas such as software-defined networking, enterprise data management, AI/ML, digital payments, and security.
Before his time at Equinix, Justin spent 15 years in London, where he held senior strategy roles in consulting and industry. As a Managing Consultant at EY, he led strategic advisory engagements with global firms in the telecommunications, media, technology, and energy sectors. Justin was instrumental in launching EY Ventures and played a key role in creating the National Equality Standard, a venture focused on promoting workforce equality and inclusion in partnership with leading UK enterprises. Justin has also held strategy consulting roles at Capgemini Consulting, KPMG Consulting, and STL Partners, and served as Head of Strategy and Head of Innovation and Venturing for British Telecom, where he oversaw the commercialization of emerging technologies and introduction of new business models.
Justin holds a Master of Business Administration (cum laude) from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and German Language and Literature from Tufts University. Additionally, he has acquired certificates in Platform and Technology Strategy from MIT Sloan Executive Education.
